“Trustee May Albrecht requested the items about the proclamation for Anti-Human Trafficking Month and a letter regarding federal legislation allowing larger trucks on roadways. The motion to pass the consent agenda without these items was approved unanimously…For the item involving the letter for trucks on roadways, Trustee Albrecht wanted clarification on how the town would classify certain trucks as being too large for roadways. This comes after the Coalition Against Bigger Trucks reached out to the town board about authorizing a letter opposing federal legislation that may allow for longer and heavier trucks on interstates and other roadways. The motion to approve this letter of opposition was passed unanimously.”
